The images are initially digital layer paintings, filtered and somewhat tormented, where much is left to mere accident under some sort of control. An attempt to resemble the beauty of aged things, like old tables with scratch marks and stains. They get this patina without a plan. But everyday beauty is oftenly walked by.
The concept of Muzak Art is an attempt to reconstruct this random process where perfection is built upon pure chance.. A fantasy around the “non-image”, to find the code between the small print of nature. The artist Zigge Holmgren like to see his pictures as xerox copies of life, as we would experience existance in Afterlife... Like images from children's picture books, for grown-ups.
